How to Export Conversation Videos for Stories and Reels (Coming Soon)

Note: Video export is currently under development and will be available soon. For now, you can export your conversations as high-quality images.

Animated chats outperform static screenshots on stories and reels. Soon, you'll be able to export video from Mock DM with polished styling and pacing.

Free gets you image exports (with a watermark). Video and watermark-free exports will unlock on paid plans, along with additional conversation styles.

Coming soon: Export workflow (Pro)

1. Build the conversation: Select your style (multiple styles on Free; additional premium styles on Pro), set dark/light mode, edit the status bar, and add names/avatars.
2. Set timing: Space timestamps naturally (1–5 minute gaps). Shorten or split long messages so the animation reads quickly.
3. Preview: Use play to watch the sequence and adjust any awkward pauses.
4. Export video: Click export and choose video. Keep the conversation concise—stories and reels favor tighter cuts.
5. Check the file: Confirm the watermark is gone (Pro) and the timing feels natural before posting.

Tips for better video exports (when available)

• Keep it short: 20–40 seconds works well for stories and reels.
• Use dark mode for mobile-first socials; light mode for decks and product pages.
• Front-load the hook: make the first three bubbles tell viewers why to keep watching.
• Avoid walls of text: break long replies into multiple bubbles.
